Past year and a bit in review

So here is my past year.  Nice to see I am sitting at the high water mark, but you can clearly see when I didn't have time to trade because of school, or didn't see anything I liked.

Old idea revisited

So picked up an econometrics book and am going to restart my old FX HFT idea again.

This time I am setting up like a science experiment, with set ideas and set time frames to test.

Short note on the Fiscal Cliff

finding this "fiscal cliff" policy to simply be a shroud on what is really wrong with American Economics.  Bring production back to your country, raise interest rates to combat the inflation from increased income due to increasing employment, then worry about taxing and making your budget work.  You ignore the background economic problem, yet maintain that the short term is the way to fix the trend.
